Crunch has grown leaps and bounds in the 18 months or so since we launched, and on Friday 5th November we passed another big milestone – we signed the lease on our fantastic new offices!

Our new home is a 4000 square foot open-plan unit not 100 metres from our current residence (or ‘the basement’ as we like to call it).  Unfortunately it’s been unoccupied for some time, and is in need of some TLC, but as soon as we had the keys in hand we set the contractors loose and they’re already making progress.  The false walls are coming down and the questionably-styled reception area is being destroyed and re-built completely – you can expect to see many more pictures from the refurbishment as we near our target of moving in at the beginning of December.

This new office space is the result of Crunch receiving a second round of funding to the tune of £500,000 from original backers Paul Birch (of fame), and former Chairman of Skype Michael Van Swaaij.  Crunch has been growing at an exponential rate over the last 12 months, and as such we’ve out-grown our current offices.  The new space will give us room to expand as we continue to scale-up our business to meet the needs of thousands of freelancers and contractors.
