There may be a number of sore heads and a few hazy memories on the morning after the freelancers’ Christmas party. The event was a big success with 75 freelancers and contractors filling The Werks co-working space in Brighton. One hundred pounds was raised for the NSPCC in the process.
The drinks flowed and mince pies were scoffed at an evening that united a freelance community which often gets overlooked when it comes to work-related festivities.
Crunch contributed an expensive-looking bottle of champagne as a prize, and a live ‘gypsy jazz’ band provided the musical accompaniment. Co-working hub The Werks provided the facilities and our friends at Freelance Advisor also put their hands in their pockets to provide food and drink.
After the success of last night’s party, we’re determined to make it happen again but next time bigger and even better. If you have any suggestions, feel free to leave them below!
