If you are able, cast your minds back to the halcyon days of November 2010. Those with particularly agile memories may remember we teamed up with the PCG to put on an event to mark National Freelancers Day in the fair city Crunch calls home, Brighton.

The event was a fantastic success with many local freelancers and contractors coming out to do some networking and drink some free beer. Well, there’s good news for lovers of networking and free beer – we’re doing it all over again this year!

On the evening of November 23rd (National Freelancers Day), we will be taking over The Terraces on Brighton seafront between 7pm and 11.30pm to host an evening of nibbles, drinks, networking and all-round good times. The event is, of course, free, and is open to any freelancers, contractors and small business owners who care to attend.

This year we’re teaming up with not only the PCG, but Wired Sussex too! Our community site Freelance Advisor should also be in attendance, most likely propping up the bar. Last year’s turnout was around 60 people, and we’re expecting many more this year.

So get your dancing shoes on, RSVP on our Lanyrd page, and get some new business cards printed – we can’t wait to see you there!
