Can you believe it’s that time of year again? Once again November 23rd – National Freelancers Day – has rolled around, and once again we’ve joined forces with the PCG to celebrate the UK’s freelance and contractor workforce.
Last year was a huge success with events across the country and an estimated one million people reached – we even ended up on ITV News!
This year’s festivities include the PCG’s Freelance Lecture in London, once again hosted by the lovely Sue Lawley, our National Freelancers Day Party in sunny Brighton, as well as separate parties in Manchester and Newcastle, a series of seminars featuring our very own Darren Fell and other industry brainboxes, as well as all the usual media coverage, extended coffee breaks, backslapping and general good times.
The PCG have full details of all the ways you can get involved on their official National Freelancers Day 2011 site, and if you’re all a-Twitter don’t forget to use the #NFD23Nov hashtag.
A bunch of the Crunch team will be in attendance tonight at The Terraces for our big party, and if our signup page is anything to go by we’re looking at almost one hundred attendees! We’re looking forward to meeting Brighton’s best and brightest freelancers and small businesses owners. There’ll be free nibbles and booze, as well as the chance to win a bottle of bubbly.
Happy National Freelancers Day!
