Say hello to James Wigley, University lecturer and locum doctor and Crunch client. James is based in Manchester, and could economically be called a busy fellow.

James spends his days demonstrating anatomy to medical students at the University of Manchester, and spends his evenings and weekends as a locum doctor in the busy A&E department of his local hospital.

In amongst his two jobs, James also somehow finds time to study part-time for a Masters degree, and is also involved in other teaching schemes on the side. As we said – a busy fellow.

Locum DoctorJames decided to form a limited company last July, and began searching for an all-in-one solution that could take the hassle of accounting out of his hands. After looking at the available options, James prescribed himself a Crunch subscription.

“I have no accounting experience whatsoever, so I just wanted to input my figures and have someone else take care of the rest.”

As someone chronically short on time, James cites our on-demand expert advice as the most useful feature of the Crunch accounting package.

“Having access to accounting experts if and when I need them gives me real peace of mind. It’s a great safety net if you ever run into problems.

“My account manager Helena¬†is always able to answers the questions I have in relation to becoming more tax efficient and explaining what I can and can’t claim for.”

James was also impressed with how quickly we were able to get him up and running – particularly the speed with which we formed his limited company (which we can do on average in less than two hours since we launched GoLimited).

James is one of many locum doctors who we have taken on in the last few months. Crunch’s ¬†cloud software makes it easy for them to dip in and out of their finances, and their dedicated accountant and account manager takes care of everything else for them – meaning they can spend what precious little free time they have relaxing.
