Last week we finished rolling out Snap for iPhone, and we’ve already seen receipts flying in from all over the country ready to be processed. Today we’re very pleased to announce Snap for Android is ready for testing!
If you’re an Android user and keen to give it a try, first you’ll need to activate Snap on your Crunch account (or click here if you’re logged in).
– Tick the box next to Snap to indicate you have read and agree to the additional Snap Terms & Conditions, then click Activate. Shortly afterwards you will receive an email with your Snap connect token.
Once you have your token you’ll need to install Snap on your smartphone:
– Go to Settings -> Applications, and tick “Unknown sources”. This will allow you to install apps manually.
Once the .apk file has finished downloading, pull down your notification bar and tap the file to install Snap. Once Snap has installed you can open it and log in using the email address you use for Crunch and your connect token. Then you’re ready to get snapping!
However, don’t forget our fair usage policy! We recommend scanning no more than ten receipts per month, however you won’t be penalised for going over the limit now and again. For more information about Snap, see our announcement blog post.
