Regus, a company who rent out working space and meeting rooms for everyone from freelancers to companies, has seen an 8.1% rise in their first-half revenue. This has been due to high demand at their already established centres.
Thanks to their success they are upping their plans for expansion. Last year they aimed to set up 300 business centres, while now they’re going after 450 insteads.
Their revenue hit £804.7 during the first six months of the year (ending on June 30). Last year they got £744.7. If you were to ignore the negative effect of the strengthening British pound, their revenue would have increased by 16.9%.
This expansion is great news for freelancers, especially those who work from home or are often on the move. Better access to great meeting rooms, offices and hot desks means they’ll be better equipped to their job and be free to be more flexible.
