Twitter is becoming an increasingly valuable source for finding freelance work. Be it through recommendations from friends or coworkers or a fortuitous retweet, new work can sometimes flow thick and fast through the Twitter network.
The biggest problem with tapping this new work goldmine, though, is sorting the signal from the noise. For every tasty two week contract tweeted there are 300 people Instagramming pictures of their shoes.
To help get you started we’ve put together a Twitter list of a few agencies or websites which tweet freelance and contractor jobs (and some full-time gigs too unfortunately – sorry about that!). If you know of any other accounts which tweet good quality freelance work, let us know in the comments and we’ll add them to our list. In the meantime, let’s go fishing for work!
