About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Executive to join our team!

This role will take a hands-on approach to driving active communication with our existing and potential clients and members, whilst providing all-round marketing expertise and support to the Marketing Team.

Crunch has recently completed a successful crowdfunding raise and this role is essential to our exciting growth plans!

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the Marketing, Client Services and Sales Teams to create and deliver on-brand, impactful email marketing communications for existing clients/members and potential prospects, using the Salesforce Pardot automated marketing system.
  • Ensuring that all email marketing communications are thoroughly tested to ensure accuracy and quality before going out to clients en masse.
  • Devising killer subject lines and ‘on point’ copy for emails and notifications, sent to our members on both desktop and mobile applications.
  • Ensuring the delivery of successful ‘drip’ and ‘nurture’ email campaigns to develop relationships throughout the customer journey.
  • Keeping up to date on standards and principles of the UK General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) 2021/Data Protection Act 2018, specifically the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) - applying this knowledge to consider the implications for the Sales and Marketing activities.
  • Producing reports from the Salesforce and Pardot dashboards to provide analysis and insight to inform and improve subsequent campaigns.
  • Supporting other Marketing team members with their priorities, and providing Marketing team cover for holiday periods as and when needed.
  • Continually keeping up to date with external marketing trends and innovation, sharing ideas to contribute to the Marketing team strategy.

You will need:

  • Experience executing automated email marketing campaigns using a software platform (we use Salesforce Pardot).
  • Excellent IT literacy and data analytics skills, in particular producing reports from dashboard information, using Google suite packages.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • An interest in software technology and the marketing activities of a Software as a Service (SaaS) business.

The following experience is not essential, but would be beneficial:

  • Completion of Google Analytics certification at a minimum of Beginner level.
  • Previous experience of using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, such as Salesforce.
  • A degree qualification in any relevant discipline and/or professional marketing qualifications and certification.
