Graduate Accountants and Graduate Tax Accountants

Location: Preston Park, Brighton

Crunch Accounting Ltd is now recruiting Graduate Accountants to work towards professional Accounting (ACCA) or Tax Accounting (ATT and CTA) qualifications. As a Graduate Accountant you will undertake accounting and tax assignments, working on a wide variety of client businesses, whilst studying for the ACCA or ATT/CTA qualifications. As an integral part of the Crunch team, you will deal with your client’s accountancy and tax queries and provide excellent service and support.

Your role responsibilities

- Study towards Professional Accountancy and/or Tax Qualifications (ACCA and ATT/CTA), under a training contract.
- Work on bookkeeping activities, the production of company accounts and personal tax returns and corporation tax calculations.
- Meet team and department Service Level Agreements (SLA’s).
- Provide accurate accounting/tax advice to our clients based on their individual circumstances.
- Answer client queries via email, telephone and online chat support and maintain accurate records.
- Understand the Crunch systems and apply this knowledge efficiently and effectively.
- Work closely with other departments, in particular Client Services, to ensure high levels of client services are achieved.

About you

Essential:

- 2 A-levels (grades A* to E), or equivalent.
- 5 GCSEs (Grades A* to C or 9 to 4), which must include including Maths and English, or equivalent.
- A relevant Degree in a finance related discipline. Have a keen interest in software applications and Accountancy.

Desirable:

- At least one year’s experience in an Accountancy practice environment.
- AAT Level 4/MAAT qualified. Please note that we no longer offer AAT study at Crunch.
- You may already be part qualified, working towards ACCA or ATT/CTA qualifications, or gained some exemptions towards ACCA/AAT professional studies from a finance related degree.
