About you

We’re looking for a Webflow Designer to join our Marketing Team!

This role will involve creating beautiful web pages & visual designs primarily for the Company’s Marketing needs - and you will go on to implement website design into published pages in our chosen CMS, Webflow. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role which will require you to be an excellent visual designer as well as an experienced Webflow enthusiast!

About the role

In this role, you will be:

  • Owning the entire lifecycle of a project - from receiving a Requirements Brief through to delivering a published site - including creating powerful designs, stakeholder sign-off, and page build in Webflow.
  • Working on the priorities set by the Marketing team, as your primary stakeholders and source of work and guidance.
  • Clearly conveying creative ideas and concepts, both adhering to and enhancing our brand and style guide.
  • Ensuring our website design is user-centric and responsive (both mobile and desktop).
  • Presenting and defending designs and key deliverables to peers and senior-level stakeholders - whilst being willing to listen to and act on constructive feedback from all members of the team.
  • Building and maintaining performant, well tested website pages that adhere to defined website standards and guidelines.
  • Ensuring development remains as efficient as possible by championing reusable code and components wherever possible, and establishing best practice to ensure maintainability.
  • Staying abreast of the latest trends and technologies in order to keep an open and fresh perspective, honing your skills and ensuring our company website remains innovative.
  • Liaising with other team members, departments and stakeholders to ensure schedules and tasks are well communicated, and deliverables are meeting expectations.
  • Actively searching for areas benefiting from improvement to continually improve the experience offered.
  • Performing a regular refinement exercise, ensuring all website changes made directly by stakeholders adhere to brand and style guides, and are optimised where necessary.
  • Utilising all resources available to produce the desired result - requesting additional Developer or Design guidance where needed.
  • On occasion, this role may involve supporting the Marketing Team with other ad-hoc tasks.

The essentials:

  • Demonstrable experience using Webflow.
  • Solid understanding of HTML and CSS.
  • Proven experience in either an in-house or agency Design Team.
  • Evidence of a varied portfolio of design work.
  • Experience using a Design System or Component Library and an appreciation of the value one brings.

The ‘nice to have’:

  • Experience in creating wireframes.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript.
  • Awareness of SEO best practices.
  • A portfolio of past Webflow projects you could call on for inspiration and problem solving.
  • Experience in creating storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps.
  • Experience with website A/B testing.
