We don’t like to toot our own horn too much here at Crunch, but we’ve got some very exciting news that we can’t help but share – we’ve been nominated for not one, not two, but four accountancy awards already this year!

Now, we want to make something clear right off the bat – awards are never a one-man job. They’re a recognition of the hard work of all of our employees and all the brilliant self-employed, small business owners who trust us with their accounting every day. Whether we win or not, finding ourselves shortlisted for four awards is something we’re very proud of and thankful for!

With the mushy stuff out of the way, here’s the low-down on what we’ve been shortlisted for.

Accounting Excellence Awards

Practise Accountancy Pioneer of the Year – Darren Fell

First up, it’s our CEO and founder, Darren Fell! He’s been nominated for this year’s Practise Accountancy Pioneer of the Year award, recognising his inspirational leadership and impact on driving Crunch forward over the past year. Darren has already collected a handful of awards in the past, and we’re certainly keeping our fingers crossed for him on this one. The winner will be announced on the 20th September – good luck, Darren!

British Small Business Awards

Accountancy Software Provider of the Year – Crunch

As a business, Crunch has been shortlisted for two awards – first up, it’s the Accountancy Software Provider of the Year award, hosted by the British Small Business Awards.

We’re always reinvesting profits back into the company to make sure we stay at the forefront of accountancy software, so this is a really gratifying award to see ourselves shortlisted for.

British Accountancy Awards

Practice Excellence, Mid-Tier Firm of the Year – Crunch

Next up for Crunch, it’s the Mid-Tier Firm of the Year award, hosted this time by the British Accountancy Awards. This award focuses on four main categories; Strategic Planning, Profitability/Growth, Professionalism and People/Community.

The British Accountancy Awards take place on Wednesday the 26th September, so keep an eye on our social feeds for the results.

British Accountancy Awards

Rising Star of the Year – Dillis Wei Qin

And last but certainly not least, it’s the Rising Star of the Year award, which our very own Dillis Wei Qin has been shortlisted for. Dillis is our Accounting Services Manager and a key part of our accountancy team; we couldn’t be more thrilled to see her hard work recognised by this nomination, and we’ll be keeping everything crossed for her come September 26th when the winner is announced. Good luck, Dillis!
