Hate what you create? Don’t worry, it’s normal!

As creative types, we’re all familiar with the particularly poignant sense of disappointment that comes from having slaved over a project for days, weeks, or even months, only to realise that we hate what we’ve made.

In this touching and inspirational video, veteran American radio host, Ira Glass, explains what he calls “the gap” – that space between what you want to create and what you are actually able to produce.

Ira’s message is that creativity is a gift that must be earned. The gap is normal – you just have to work to close it.
