About you

A new role has been created in our evolving Marketing team as we launch a game changing Marketing strategy for our newly pivoted brand vision to execute perfect product positioning. This follows the recent launch of our new website as we’re poised for exponential and groundbreaking growth.

Growth marketing takes traditional marketing to the next level and makes an immediate impact by adding interlinking layers including A/B testing, value added blog posts and podcasts, data driven email marketing campaigns and SEO optimisation, maximising the power of our amazing Crunch community of members and customers.

We’re looking for a highly experienced, strategic thinking and data driven growth marketeer to astutely analyse every aspect of our user experience, so we deliver our vision and achieve our ambitious growth plans.

About the role

In this role, you’ll:

  • Work closely with key stakeholders to perfectly execute the business three year marketing strategy and contribute to the delivery of the Crunch business plan.
  • Drive effective growth marketing activities and the activation funnel from top to bottom, from acquisition through to retention and advocacy.
  • Actively contribute to communication plans for all new product launches.
  • Work alongside the Brand Guardian to interpret and bring to life our product positioning,
  • Discover and leverage new channels and untapped opportunities and prioritise the team’s efforts to fulfil these to accelerate growth.
  • Review data trends and provide data driven recommendations across channels for promotional activities, product enhancements and content development.
  • Build a profound understanding of our clearly defined member and customer profiles and ensure our product offerings seamlessly match their needs.    
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager with clearly defined priorities to manage our day to day performance marketing channels including paid social, SEO, Paid Media, price comparison, affiliate, partnerships and anything else you can test to deliver ever-improving customer acquisition costs.
  • Craft and test measurable growth hacking tactics and experiments to continually learn and energise the activation funnel throughout the whole customer experience.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and talented colleagues in the Design, Marketing and Content teams to create beautiful content campaigns and solutions.
  • Agree and set challenging growth goals, reporting on key metrics and sharing useful insights to inspire further lead generation ideas.
  • Team management of direct line reports, providing support and setting goals and targets as part of regular check in’s on their progress and development using our Clear Review performance and feedback system.
  • Have the finger on the pulse to keep up to date with the latest marketing trends to ensure we retain our competitive edge.
  • Support the activities of the Sales and Marketing teams and build strong relationships to generate quality leads, and ensure the teams operate in tandem to achieve and exceed their targets.                                

The essentials:

  • A demonstrable passion for technology, innovation and possess the counterbalance of creativity and data.
  • Extensive previous experience as a mid to senior level growth marketeer in a high growth, start up or scale up SaaS or technology based business.
  • Proven leadership experience including coaching, mentoring and line management and the ability to inspire others.
  • Accustomed to strategically influencing colleagues up to Director level to shape and promote aspects of the Marketing strategy and guide the growth marketing execution, with a hands on approach and the ability to juggle lots of plates in a fast paced environment.
  • Solid understanding and proven usage of digital marketing performance techniques, in particular PPC and SEO and utilising audio content such as podcasts to drive growth.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, such as Salesforce.

The ‘nice to have’:

  • Degree-level qualification in a marketing related discipline is strongly preferred.
  • A certified industry standard professional Marketing qualification such as the Chartered Institute of Marketing Level 4 or above would be advantageous.
