Bio

Rob Starr is CEO and Founder of Seico Insurance & Mortgages, having originally set the company up in 1991 from his bedroom selling motor insurance and mortgages over the phone. Over the last 30 years, the company has grown to multiple offices around the UK, as well as having an Insurance Company based in South Africa.

As a fairly typical entrepreneur, Rob left school at 16 with no qualifications and built Seico Group through hard work, tenacity, and a sprinkle of luck.

In 2008, after the loss of his father very young, Rob set up a children’s charity called ‘The Starr Trust’ which aims to remove roadblocks for young people. So far, the Starr Trust has raised enough money to help over 4,000 young people fulfil their potential.
